Currently in development, American Gods is the new television series coming to Starz based on Neil Gaiman's fantasy novel of the same name.
Whilst we've already seen some first look images from the show including Ricky Whittle as Shadow Moon, Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday, Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeney and Bruce Langley as Technical Boy, the network isn't done teasing its future viewers.
Releasing the above image of Yetide Badaki in the role of Bilquis, Starz gives their first glimpse of the goddess of love.
An official description for the character released by Starz says: "Bilquis, played by Yetide Badaki (Aquarius, Masters of Sex) is an ancient goddess of love who craves the worship she inspired in eras long gone, and is eager to find that same relevance in today's world."
The American Gods cast also features Dane Cook as Robbie, Emily Browning as Laura Moon, Crispin Glover as Mr. World, Jonathan Tucker as Low Key Lyesmith, Cloris Leachman as Zorya Vechernyaya, Peter Stormare as Czernobog, Gillian Anderson as Media, Orlando Jones as Mr. Nancy and Demore Barnes as Mr. Ibis.
Currently filming, American Gods will broadcast on Starz in the US in 2017.
